The Mid Weight Merino Crew Socks are an epic all round sock for all weather conditions - warm or cold. Hike in them, run in them, ride in them, or just wear them for everyday comfort and enjoy the many benefits of natural Merino wool socks.

Designed with a unique Merino-rich blend has been specially formulated for blister-prevention. The temperature regulating and moisture wicking benefits of the superfine Merino keep your feet warm, comfortable and ‘odour resistant’ without overheating.  The cuff prevents sock ‘slippage’ to avoid shoe rub. Extra padding in all the places you need it, and thinner, ventilated panels where temperature regulation is more important.

They’ll keep your feet warm in the cold, and stay comfortable if they get wet. They feel silky smooth and comfortable straight out of the pack.

'Crew’ length. Sitting between ankle and beginning of calf muscle.

Slightly longer than the Multi-sports socks.

Comfortable, soft, my feet love them. Great for riding or walking. Don't stink socks or feet

Linda Lo (Turramurra, AU)
Soft and warm and no tight on your feet

Very comfortable and generous fit, plus the socks stay up and not tight on your legs and feet.

Manuel Garcia (San Diego, US)
Fantastic Socks.

Fit like a second skin without being too tight. Does not bunch up. Excellent for walking/running activities.
Highly recommend!

JJ (Brooklin, US)

These fit well and are comfortable and moisture wicking. I love them for in my new minimalist-sole hiking boots. They're warm and feel sturdy so they should last a good long while. I've also worn them to bed a couple nights as it's getting chilly in the northern hemisphere...would buy again!!!

Feels free

So nice to wear, you nearly feel barefoot but you can feel the support and lovely texture of wool

Fabric Guide

While Merino is an amazing natural fibre, not all Merino fabrics are created equal. At ioMerino, we make our own fabrics, using only the best quality fibres, and to very specific specifications that make the most of the natural benefits of Merino. All of them are 'Merino rich’. No cheap blends passed off as Merino. No cheaper scratchy fibres or synthetic substitutes to save money. No unethical production. And each fabric is made for a specific purpose. So if you see something with a small amount of elastase or nylon added, you can be sure it absolutely needs to be there to enhance the natural stretch and durability.

It took every bit of our 140 years of experience in the wool industry to perfect our fabrics, but we think you’ll agree the end result was more than worth the effort.

Ethically Made. Ethically Sourced. Perfectly Natural.
