Our Altitude range was originally designed as a baselayer, to fit close to your body for maximum performance, so it’s snug but soft, with plenty of give for extra comfort. If you’re usually a medium, for example, you might find the medium fits tighter than you’d expect because it’s designed to be ‘contact fit’ and look and feel like a second skin. If you’re looking for a more relaxed fit you might consider sizing up (it will still be relatively snug) or choosing another style.

The high performance ‘Run all the Trails’ Tee is super lightweight, breathable yet incredibly warm when it’s cold, but breathable and comfortable when the temperature rises.

The Altitude Base Layer Tee will keep you comfy through a wide range of temperatures and conditions - wear it as a base layer with extra layers on top for more warmth when the weather hits hard, and when the temperature rises, you’ve got the perfect lightweight and breathable T-shirt.

(For a more relaxed fit try our Ultra or Universal T-shirts.)

Tag free, flatlock stitching, raglan sleeves eliminate chafe and maximize comfort.

(If you’re wondering how this one is different to the Classic version, that one has an ioMerino logo on the sleeve. Other than that, they’re exactly the same!)

Why you’d buy this: You like your stuff to fit nice and close to your body whether you wear it on its own, or under another layer and don’t want any extra bulk or bunching. You might also want a bit of extra length which this one gives you. It’s super soft and comfy, and 96% merino so it’s super natural which means almost no microplastic issues when you wash it or landfill when you’ve finished with it.

As with all our clothes, the merino delivers natural temperature regulation, breathability, moisture wicking and odour resistance.

DESIGN SERIES

Our Altitude Design Series are produced in smaller, limited quantities and may take a few extra days to produce so please allow for this in your delivery time. If you have ordered one of these along with a standard item, your order won't be sent until your Design Series tee is ready. We will continue to have various artworks produced so check back from time to time or sign up to our Outsiders Club to see new designs as they are released.

SIZE & FIT

Originally designed to be worn as a base layer, (is usually underneath something else), this is a ‘contact fit’ layer so will hug your body. If you don’t want it to fit, feel or look like a second skin, you might try another style, or go up a size, but please note: even going up a size will fit quite close to your body because of the fabric and cut.

New improved fit. Regular body length, shorter and looser than the Altitude long sleeve styles.

Model is 5'10" and wears size small in Charcoal Marle.

Bought it in green. It’s extremely soft. Washing was easy. So I bought it in purple. Love them both.

Great quality

Great quality product. Would probably go up a size next time. I was within the sizing range but it is quite tight on me. Still ok to run in but prefer a bit less fitted.

Bought this for my daughter who DOES run ALL trails - champion trail runner, represented Australia twice in overseas trail championships (worldwide), she epitomises the trail runner, happy, caring, loving nature. Ideal present for her, I think.

Beautiful colour, butter soft on skin

This Marino tee is perfect on its own, or a as baselayer, and is both warm and breathable. The colour of the material an stitching is lovely too. Very happy with it.

Perfect hoodie

Great fit, very comfy, high quality and arrived quickly

The only socks I wear for work, they feel great and never smell.

They are OK....thought they would be a bit thicker, pretty thin for the price considering they are made In Sri Lanka. Stitching seems good so far. My wool thermals are warmer though...

Very happy

I’ve not worn this but tried it on and I can’t wait for warmer times to wear it. Although, if you’re a runner you may love it any time of the year . I have 4 pieces of IO now, 2 mongrels a Tshirt and a tank all surperb quality from fabric to manufacture. No more of that other brand for me.

It was a birthday present and my daughter loved it.
