As described, the shirt fits close-to-skin, so I'm glad I sized up.
I love the higher merino content. Wore it for a run in near 30° temps in Adelaide, for a 15-hour long haul flight (not stinky!), and as a base layer in sub-zero temps in Canada.
And io added the merch design for the V5 Series which I so appreciate - thank you! This shirt will be treasured for many years to come.
I find the Universal range the most comfortable ioMerino tees. The Navy colour is a great addition to my range of options.
I own 3 of these tops now. 1 x for good, 1 x for home and 1 x well worn old job for camping/fishing. They are precious when new but better as they age and I care less about the nicks and holes. Perfect around home, brilliant out on the trails, up the river or at the cricket etc in the mid seasons. Always my go to option for comfort and transition warmth. I can wear this excellent top for a few days before a wash when out and about which I wouldn't do with a synthetic. Cheers R.
These briefs were terrific. They stayed in place all day and didn't slip down and become uncomfortable while climbing or hiking. They also dried pretty well, and are ok to wear slightly damp. A winner for me.
I wore this top for a 6 day hike in the Tasmanian Wilderness and it stood up to the test. I was lucky with the weather and could get it dried when I rinsed it out. Im glad that I sized up after reading another review. Large was the perfect size for me.
The pants are a great fit except for the length, however I found the fabric to be very scratchy so they are going back.
Hi there Erika,
We're so sorry to hear you don’t love the gear as much as we do. We really pride ourselves on making high quality, incredibly soft and warm clothing, so it’s certainly disappointing to hear you’ve experience otherwise this time around. However, at the same time we do understand there’s people out there who can just be really sensitive to Merino Wool, so thanks for giving our gear a try anyway!
