    Women's 'Stripey' Altitude Base Layer Collection

    We called this the Stripey range, because, ah, obviously. Then we gave it its very own section because even though it’s made from the same super comfortable fabric as the rest of the Altitude range, when we make the stripey fabric it fits and feels a stripey bit different. Still soft, still comfortable, still true-ish to size, but if you’re used to our other Altitude tops, this one will feel about half a size smaller. Up to you whether you go up a size based on how you want it to fit and feel.

Ideal for bike riding where you’re bending over and you don’t want your top to ride up, and on mountain sports to avoid any exposed skin. 

    The Altitude 'Stripey' Range is ‘contact fit’ to maximise thermal properties and sit flat under other layers. Made with 96% superfine Australian Merino and 4% Elastane to give extra stretch. Designed to be body-hugging and tight all over.

    These layers are perfect for snow sports, cycling and running.

    I have recently discovered this awesome brand from my home state - thanks Sputnik! I bought a heap of things for our trip to Queenstown and so far they have lived up to the description. Love the layering recommendations - it's meant every walk/hike has been comfortable. In the middle pic I am in IO from gloves, tops, leggings to socks! Love it

    I was looking for warm pants made of natural fibres. I started looking at pure merino wool but was concerned that it's too delicate. Glad i found this shop. Mixing merino wool and cotton sounds like a brilliant idea. Keeps warm but not as delicate as pure merino. Love my pants. It's warm and comfy!

    At first wasn't sure about the tights but I wanted to try anyway and that was a super winner. It is definitely a piece that I own with proud as I am sure while I seat no nasties are getting into my pores.
    I am amazed ate the quality, the fit and the feel of it. Good job guys for think of it, you really deserve my admiration and I will be looking forward to change most of my old synthetic thighs to IO Merino.

    I wore iormerino Altitude thermals (x3 layers top) and x1 layer bottom (with running tights) with x2 pairs of socks for running adventure across a frozen lake in Mongolia. Light weight and warm despite -18/-22 degrees. I didn't need ski jacket or pants as felt cosy. Didn't smell either (we had no running water for 7 days).
