I have actually owned these shorts for many years (and I'm only just reviewing them - slacker that I am!).
I love them! So soft and comfy, pockets I never knew I needed (and now can't live without) and non-smelly! During covid lockdowns they were were my lunchtime walk shorts. I wore them for my 20 min walk around the block every day while working from home. The benefits of the non-smelly feature is that I didn't have to wash them very often, so could just let them air out overnight and throw them on again the next day. And the pockets mean I could put my phone in one, keys in the other and I'm ready to go. Very convenient. I have also worn them for longer day hikes and they were perfect. Love these shorts! :)

I wanted these to work so badly - great fabric (thick but soft), not too short, very well made and decent pockets! Alas they didn't suit my shape - too loose around my waist but too firm around my legs. I sized up as recommended (got the L) but I think I'd need an XL for my legs and an M for my waist. They fit my friend perfectly so it really depends on your shape - merino isn't as stretchy as plastic fabrics, so the cut needs to suit your body more than other athletic gear. I have had these for more than two years and wear them in Melbourne for running gym and yoga classes 9 months of the year. They keep me warm on the 2 degree mornings on runs. They are still in perfect condition the material does not fade shrink or lose its elasticity. I like the colourful logo it makes them feel special when I put them on. I love wearing them and wish there was another colour.

Thank you IoMerino for creating a natural fibre compression legging. I need to wear compression tights for health reasons and was getting sick of the plastic feeling of other compression tights. I live in these every day! Love them. These are my everday wardrobe staple, even great under dresses

I have been looking to move away from nylon or polyester based exercise gear and has taken me a while to work out what I wanted. I'd been eyeing off these shorts for months and took the plunge as they ticked my boxes of an Australian owned company, merino based product and design I was after.
I couldn't be happier. They're a great fit, have the compression I was after and sit at the right spot on my belly. Size wise, I'm usually a size 16 and found the XXL to be a good fit
I feel a lot more at ease exercise knowing that I have natural fibres against my skin and will be slowly replacing all my existing gym leggings and shorts with IO merino products.

I was very doubtful I would like these shorts, as I don't like tights and therefore always had wider running shorts. However, They always creep up and cause chafing. Therefore I eventually decided to try these shorts and I must say, up to now I love them. Exactly the right length, 2 pockets which is handy, and the material feels great when running. I haven't worn them in very hot weather yet, but at the moment they are lovely to run in. The material really doesn't move, so I didn't have a chafing after my run today which is a win. Would definitely recommend!

I bought these shorts to reward myself for completing a race over 8 months ago and they are my favourite shorts. Beat buy ever! Love the pockets! Love the length! And most of all, love the feel against my skin when I run in them. They are amazing! Looking at getting more.

I love the bike shorts. Great to ware in the tropics, for walking, cycling and yoga.
However they are slow dryers and heavy in weight, so for long term hiking not so good. I also find the sizing rather small. For larger people not so suitable .

Love these, don't love my legs. These bike shorts are flattering, fit well, don't ride up and absorb sweat like a shammy (there is no shammy in them, but they do have pockets). I have two pair. Love them like my long compression tights
