I am hiking the Appalachian Trail and have been wearing IO Merino all the way! I started in a Run all the Trails shirt that I wore for the first 109 days. My backpack rubbed a few holes eventually - to be expected when you wear it every day and your pack weighs over 10kg.
I am now in my How good is Nature? Shirt and I just love it!

Looks good, feels soft, light and easily packable.
I washed it in the sink and it dried hanging in my bathroom in 5 hours.

I’m a size 12 Aus in almost everything or a medium and the medium in this fits comfortably.

I have already ordered another Universal top and two tanks tops and a bra for my upcoming 6 week trip. I like that not all of the tops look super outdoorsy so are more city travel friendly.

I love this tshirt. Perfect sizing, comfortable and i can tell it will get a lot of use from everyday trips to backpacking trips. Really nice top.

I've had merino tops for a few years, not the IO brand. I never really made the most of merino before when travelling until a recent trip to Tasmania because I had to wear them multiple times and they didn't become smelly. I am typically a ''wear once and wash'' person, pretty much because other material gets stinky! Merino tops are perfect for layering and light weight for packing. Such a beautiful natural fibre to wear!!!!
Upon returning home to Perth, and with an overseas trip coming up, I decided to buy more merino tee shirts. After researching, I decided I would try the IO brand, the Universal Tee Shirt. The price point is actually a bit cheaper than some other brands in Australia and I love that it is an Australian brand. I bought two tee shirts and am very happy with my purchase. There is a beautiful range of colors, the cut is nice, the sizing is perfect, the fabric is so soft. I LOVE that there are no tags sewn into any seams!!!! I typically wear medium.
I've enjoyed wearing them already, but look forward to enjoying the benefits of merino for travel on my upcoming trip.
Delivery was quick. Very happy overall and I will definitely add to my collection in the future. Seriously, merino is the only way to go!!!!

I bought this for hiking but I love wearing it everywhere. Perfect for the gym or casual wear in the city. It’s so comfortable & soft but still sturdy. The shape is lose & flattering. I like the sleeve length & neckline. I have worn it a lot & it still looks and feels new.

I wear merino T shirts a lot and IO Merino are my favourites. The fit is perfect: true to size, neither tight nor boxy. I really appreciate the standard neckline, as many outdoor companies scoop their women's T shirt necklines (pink it and shrink it grrr) which creates sun protection issues. The seams are smooth and well finished. No holes after 18 months of regular wear. Love the colour range being regularly expanded too, colour matters!

I hadn't tried merino shirts before for my trail running and MTB, but I am absolutely in love! They protect your chest from the wind a little and keep you cozy in the cooler months. They also dry super quick so are great for travelling and hiking on the go for overnight camps. I thoroughly recommend and I love the prints you can choose from too. Thanks team for a great shirt!

Very comfortable, and love that it doesn't need washing very much.

Started with a medium in the mint (which is quite bright, a nice colour- almost an apple green) and also added a small in the silver pine. Size wise my measurements are at the top of the range for small, so I wasn’t sure- and both sizes work well depending if I want a looser or more fitted outfit. Even though the medium is technically too big (from the chart) because it’s a lovely soft fabric and hangs well, it doesn’t look it at all. I also think the length is good, hits at the hips- some other merino tshirt brands are really are long. I tried the pink too but it was a slightly salmony shade which didn’t suit me, and also a little see through (black bra under showed through) so I returned. These will be great travel tshirts as they’re smart enough for around the city but functional for hiking and gym. Tested the whole ‘don’t need to wash merino often’ by wearing it daily for a 4 day city trip (although I didn’t get sweaty) and it was totally fine, still fresh- a cotton tshirt would have started to smell. Will buy more, hopefully at some stage there might be some more bright colours in the range!

I know I loved the merino wool t-shirts I had on my last Camino - wool T-shirts were a great improvement on the synthetic shirts I had on my first Camino but the width around the waist was tight and unflattering. I loved that I could wear the wool for 2 days. It saved a lot of handwashing for me after a long day of walking. This time I searched all of the woollen brands to see if I could find a looser fit. This one is perfect - comfortable on the hips so it can be worn out and still look good. It is a bit shorter which suits me perfectly. I’m looking forward to using my 2 new T-shirts on my next Camino.

Soft, comfy, lightweight and warm. Being “universal” my size is a slightly looser fit (which I wanted) but still a good shape for a female. Looks smart too.

I wear Universal Tee for bike riding and being out and about. I bought a looser fit for myself, I am usually X Large and went for XX Large as is more forgiving on me and neckline fab still and just loving it. Flattering to wear and so comfy, high quality long wearing also. Wearing it though you know it's there it feels a part of you also which is a new experience. The Blends are fantastic. I have been feeling so good wearing Io Merino I am updating my usual everyday wear pieces in my wardrobe to ioMerino it's just that good. Value wise and price wise pays off in so many ways as read in other reviews. I find the cut, style made for function, practicality, comfort and joy all given equal value. I’m a size 6-8 and bought this in a size XS which is just the right length for me - I’m 162cm tall/5 feet 3 inches. Not too loose, not too fitted, just right, and the Merino is a nice weight. Some Merino tees are too thin and are closer to underwear than teeshirts. This is a good mid-weight.
I bought this in the red (chili) and I like it enough to be considering buying another one or two in different colours. My first iomerino tee wont be my last!

I loved my red top so much I bought the dazzling blue. Love the colour. Bought it in medium as I’m a size 10-12. Not tight fitting which I really like. Great top for travel and multi-day hikes. Much more durable than other merino tops I’ve bought as it has nylon and elastane in it. Just wish it was 5 centimetres longer.

True to size. Comfortable, soft merino fabric. Holds size after gentle wash.
