Great compression running pants

This is my second pair of IO Merino compression leggings and they are great. They have not lost shape after much use, they are comfortable, breathable, suitably compressing. They don’t go transparent like polyesters sometimes do. I don’t have any issue with them being hot like some others have mentioned, but then I live in a cold climate (Victoria). Most importantly, they are a natural fibre, not plastic. We need to quit our plastic dependency, clothing is a great place to start. Highly recommended.

So soft

I love IO Merino products as I have the idea of buying more plastic. These are so soft and the compression is fabulous. I might just have to wait for cooler weather before full review is given.

Good if it’s really cold

These are great if it’s really cold but I find them too hot and irritating if the weather is warmer - say 15 degrees. I’d also love them more if the waist was a smidge higher. I have to pull them up a few times when running. A great product but a bit less versatile for me than other IO lines.

LOVE LOVE LOVE

Bought these tights for their thermal properties for compulsory event gear. Ran for two hours in them in the rain and still managed to stay warm. Perfect fit. Will definitely be using them on my upcoming 24-hour events. Quite possibly my new go-to.

Best winter leggings

All that’s advertised is true. Warm, breathable and moisture wicking. I have used them a few times for running and hiking and don’t get too hot. The only issue is they slide down so I have to pull them up occasionally, but this could be due to my body shape possibly. Highly recommend

Only problem is I wanted another pair and they had sold out!

Absolutely love these leggings, great fit, really comfortable, fantastic pockets, air outside on the line after runs then wash gently in wool wash once every few uses and they maintain their shape and freshness beautifully. Perfect for running 10k on 5 to 10 degree mornings without feeling cold or hot at any point - 167cm 59kg age 63 Size S
Personally I really like the minimalist logo and markings.

Compression leggings

As someone who likes the outdoors and working out what can I say, because of the merino, way better than other brands that are just lycra. Great product.

Just wondering how these tights hold up when stretched- like in yoga or weightlifting. Do they become sheer?

Thanks so much for your question.

They hold up pretty well with stretching due to the 15% elastane, and the 9% Nylon gives it the durability.

The only reason they would be sheer is if the sizing is off, please let us know if that does happen, as we have a 60 day return/exchange policy and can swap it out for you.
