I have several of these, and the sizing is always consistent. They last forever...and I keep buying all the different colours anyway, which get great comments on the trails.

Love the mongrel range! Merino is my go-to on trail and I love the bright colors and patterns. Every IO garment i have is well made and correctly sized.

My now favourite hiking T-shirt. Wicks the sweat away and keeps my temp regulated, no matter what I’m doing. These are super comfortable to wear under a backpack all day. Sensational colours and they wash well..

Love my iomerino mongrel tshirt, perfect fit, comfy and keeps me warm but don't overheat. Love how it doesn't need a wash after every run, as it doesn't smell bad! Only slight problem is the wool is a bit itchy when it's new but that goes away after a couple of washes.

I love this t-shirt. May not be able to resist another one in another colour. Very comfortable and I think it will be perfect for carrying a backpack. I did buy a larger size because I prefer a looser fit.

Love this shirt, great fit and worn with arm sleeves is perfect for both summer and winter running. I recently wore the shirt with arm warmers to the winter Gloworm event which started at a chilly 1 degree, ran through a river and ended at a sunny 12 degrees. The shirt kept me warm, dried out quickly and was super comfy. 10/10 from me!

I bought the size based on where I fall in the size chart and I like how the tee fits, close but not clingy. I have been able to layer underneath it or use it as a base layer, and the color combinations are a lot of fun.

I love merino, and particularly the super-soft IO Merino gear. My mongrel tee looks great, feels great and is perfect for multi-day hiking. The slightly longer sleeves are brilliant when carrying a backpack - no arm chafe. Highly recommended!

Love the mongrel tops. I have a short and long sleeve and both are so comfy to wear and look great. Love the blue short sleeve, it’s so much more fun that a single colour. I needed to go up a couple of sizes to get a top that wasn’t clingy. I’ve bought them for an upcoming 4 day tramp in NZ. Totally recommend.

I'd enjoyed wearing my long-sleeved Altitude tops this past winter and decided to try out the short sleeved version. This t-shirt is terrific. Comfortable to wear in both cool and hot weather. The fit is similar to the long sleeved tops in the Altitude range, but I found it isn't too clingy around my body so it's been perfect for the few warmer days we've had thus far in SA. Great for casual wear in town, superb for hiking. I'm a curvy size 12-14 usually with hourglass shape. I went with the Women's XL for a nice but not too tight body fit. I could easily fit the L if I wanted to. I will be definitely purchasing more from ioMerino. :)

The fit of the short sleeve Mongrel is outstanding! I went for the medium and it's absolutely perfect. I'm normally Sz 8-10. Comfortable, non stinky and looks great. Very happy with this purchase.

So I have a lovely new mongrel t shirt on the cupboard and it looks perfect, but its been too cold to wear it in Melbourne. I was about to fly off to FN Qld and my new t shirt was to come along, but oh no!! I had to cancel. Im sure I'll love my t shirt and am about to order a long sleeved version because I really love my io merino pieces. So easy to care for and comfortable and adaptable to occasions and weather, except a short sleeved t in Melbourne's winter. .

The advice to go a size up was spot on. The raglan sleeves are great and the longer sleeve length means my inner arms no longer get "bitten" by my pack straps. The mongrel colours suit my style and the length is perfect. I've been wearing the shirt and following the care instructions - airing it overnight - and it's like some kind of voodoo. The shirt is a bit pongy after I take it off but in the morning, it's fresh as a daisy. 4 days of wear with no washing so far. Also minimal pilling where my pack rubs. My only gripe is that a shirt that has no internal tags has one on front that scratches - I removed it. Maybe a label like the one on the back of the neck would be better? Either way, I am loving this shirt and have ordered the long-sleeve version.

I am a size 16 and purchased the XL. Sits just on the hips and is firm but not too clingy. Love the raglan sleeves (they move better), and the striped sleeve just makes you smile. Wore this on a 32km walk on a hot day, and it did not let me down. Very comfortable.

Perfect fit and seriously comfortable; I can wear them for several days and they're still fresh. I chuck it in my front-loading washing machine on a gentle, hand-wash cycle (I use Tri Nature Alpha Plus Liquid Laundry detergent - great for wool and silk). Perfect for everyday, casual wear. Great to have the T-shirt version (I have two long-sleeve that I wear all winter). Love, love, love it.

Very comfortable light weight merino hiking top. I am usually a size 10 but got a size M as I prefer things not skin tight and this does the job perfectly. I also love the colours
