I have recently discovered this awesome brand from my home state - thanks Sputnik! I bought a heap of things for our trip to Queenstown and so far they have lived up to the description. Love the layering recommendations - it's meant every walk/hike has been comfortable. In the middle pic I am in IO from gloves, tops, leggings to socks! Love it

All the great things about good quality merino along with lovely style. Love the top stitching and seam trims.

The zip top is a perfect layer for being active outdoors and keeping your temperature regulated. Or pop it under your every day wear for added warmth.

So light yet so warm. Size is good.

My first impression was the lightness and warmth of this garment. It's absolutely perfect for travel as it takes up very little room and looks great on. I thinkI need another one!!
For reference I'm 158cm tall weighing 54kg. Size S is a perfect fit for me as a base layer.

Absolutely love it. Snug and warm without any irritation.

I chose the red and love the colour. The fabric hasn't irritated me which some Merino products have done in the past. I bought small as I usually wear 8 to 10 and it fits well. Thinking of buying another.

This top will be a great addition for my multi-day hikes when I need an extra layer. I got the red. Love the colour as it’s a true red. It’s a great fit. I bought an M as I’m a size 10/12. It’s not skin tight but I didn’t want that. I’m also hoping the top will last longer than other merino tops I’ve bought as it has nylon and elastane to help strengthen the wool. I’ve found pure merino wool just isn’t durable enough for hiking/camping trips. I just wish it was about 5 centimetres longer.

Great fit, super comfortable. The collar keeps my neck warm but zip allows for airflow when needed. Great length,too.

This is fantastic for cold weather running. The zip is so handy for adjusting the warmth as I warm up. The neckline is cosy when starting out. I team this with an IO tank top and it works perfectly on a 1 degree morning!

This is a great long sleeve merino top to wear when hiking in cooler weather. Very soft merino, so no skin irritation.

I took this top and a Universal Tee with me hiking in Slovenia late August. Both were so good on the trail ( kept me cool while hiking and
warm at night, and didn't get smelly after several days) that I bought another of each. They worked just as well in the drizzly chilly Spring weather Adelaide's having at the moment.

This is my second purchase of this style. I love the wool next to my skin in all weathers. I love the square shoulder design. I love the cherry red colour.

IO ultra zip is perfect - aI live it as a layer in the Canberra cold, warm, soft and love the green.

Great for layering, also got one as a gift for sa friend and she loved it too. Have several colours now

I have several of these tops now, and recently purchased a grey one. I've worn these and the Altitude zip tops the whole winter. And they are also my go to when I need a light layer on cooler days in other seasons. The fit is great, they feel amazing and they wear well. I prefer the higher neckline as I wear them for work with the collar unzipped so it looks more like a polo shirt. Its a bit more dressy and more practical than a crew neck, especially as I wear them over short sleeved polo shirts. And they keep my neck warmer when I wear them for running on cold mornings. I hope ioMerino continues with this design indefinitely. The only thing I'd love is some more colour choices or perhaps a range with contrasting sleeves

I have a few of these now and I am so glad you make them and I found them. So soft, easy to wear and look after, beautifully warm. In a word - yummy!

I bought this for cold weather running and it is great. It's comfortable in both mild and cold cold weather. Great quality, would definitely purchase again.

Love this top. I have 2 of them and 1 crew neck. I wear them for running. The fitting is perfect.

I bought this top for hiking but realise it will be great for cycling, dog walking, and working outdoors as well. Light warm and not skimpy.

This jumper is very lightweight but it certainly keeps you warm. I am really amazed at how warm this jumper is. I recently wore this on a run with a ioMerino thermal underneath and it kept me at just the perfect temperature for the whole run I didn't feel the need to remove it when I warmed up. Well worth the money.

beautifully light and definitely more spacious than the Altitude version, therefore more forgiving to mid-section expansion. True to size, soft and pleasant and all the benefits of merino. I would have loved to layer it with the long sleeve Altitude crew but it did not quite work for me. I'd layer it with a short sleeve or tank top.
