A Quick update for our customers in the USA.

A quick update about sending orders to the USA; You can read about it, or listen to one of our Outsiders explain it all in a little video recorded in Australia, especially for you!

For those of you who are hoping to order some of our incredible natural clothing, please know we’re working overtime to make that possible again. In case you don’t know, the reason we’ve had to suspend sending orders to the USA, is because of the new tariffs introduced by the US Government. It’s not that we don’t agree with them or are protesting against them, it’s quite simply the way they’ve been implemented mean you’d need to pay an extra fee (of up to 25%!) when your order arrives and we’re pretty sure no one wants to do that!

Just to be clear, that additional fee doesn’t go to the freight company, and it certainly doesn’t go to us, it’s collected on behalf of the US Government and sent directly to them. So there’s nothing we can do to get around it. What we are trying to do, is work with our freight and logistics people, so that we can go back to doing things how they used to be done, where you buy something online, it turns up, and that’s that. You get your order, you’re happy, nothing else to do. To make that happen we need to do a bunch of boring stuff behind the scenes that we know you don’t care about, but we want you to know that as a smaller, family owned business, we really want to be able to send you stuff again.

So please sit tight, thanks for being patient, and hopefully by the time we send you our next update it will be to tell you we’re back up and running and it’s business as usual again! And we can send you our incredible, natural, warm, comfortable, temperature regulating clothing to help keep you warm and comfortable during the cooler weather!

Til then, we hope you at least liked the hiking koala. Full disclosure: we did our best to use a real koala, unfortunately koalas are notoriously lazy, (they literally sleep 18-22 hours a day!), and were not at all interested in hiking so we resorted to using a generated image. Usually we’d be keeping it real, but this time we made an exception and we hope you’ll forgive us!
