MicroAdventure Grant Terms and Conditions

WHO CAN ENTER

Entry is open to anyone of 18 years and older, currently living in the USA, who enters before the entry deadline. (Employees of ioMerino or related agencies can’t enter because that wouldn’t be fair...)

HOW TO ENTER

The ioMerino MicroAdventure Grant application process begins on the 13 October 2018 and finishes on 3 November 2018 at 11:59PM (Pacific Daylight Time). Winners will be selected by ioMerino staff and notified by 17 November 2018.

Entrants can enter multiple times with different MicroAdventure ideas.

PRIZES

Two winners (one male, one female) will be selected based on how rad we think their MicroAdventure ideas are. Each prize will consist of the following:

• USD$500 cash
• USD$500 worth of ioMerino clothing

The prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

ioMerino reserves the right to send you the most appropriate clothing for your adventure which may vary from your original request.

If the winner(s) don’t respond to being notified within a week, another winner will be selected and notified as above.

SELECTION OF PRIZE WINNERS

Each entrant who has applied for the MicroAdventure Grant over the Competition Period and registered all details will be entered into the competition. The Grant winners will be notified by email by 17 November 2018. The winners may also be announced on our web pages and associated social media sites.

The decision made by ioMerino staff is final and if you’re bummed because you didn’t get selected it’s basically bad luck. Lots of people will apply, onto two will get selected, so there’s likely to be quite a few disappointed people. Sorry. We hope you do your MicroAdventure anyway and have an awesome time.

OBLIGATION OF PRIZE WINNERS

The winner(s) are required to complete their adventure, supply a minimum of ten images, and a blog of no less than 500 words before the end of January 2019. The winner(s) will retain all copyright but will grant ioMerino the rights to non-exclusively use these across any and all platforms in perpetuity.

NO LIABILITY

If something radical or unforeseen happens that prevents us from proceeding with the Grant on the dates specified of as we’ve described it here, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, we may in our absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start in the same conditions, subject to appropriate legislation.

ioMerino and our associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.

ioMerino and our associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur at any point before, during or after the promotion, due to circumstances beyond our control.

ioMerino and our affiliates assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserve the right to take any action that may be available.

If, for any reason, this competition is not capable of being conducted as planned, including, but not limited, due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to appropriate legislation.

PRIVACY

The details contained in your entry are protected by security safeguards as detailed in our Privacy Policy. The personal information collected as part of the entry is collected to enable identification of the winner and for future marketing and promotional purposes. We will not disclose your information to any third parties.
