How would you like $500 cash plus $500 worth of ioMerino products for your next adventure? The cold weather may be coming, but that doesn’t mean there’s not plenty of adventure to be had, so we’re giving two lucky adventurers (one male, one female) the chance to have a MicroAdventure on us.
The idea of The ioMerino MicroAdventure Grant is pretty simple: we want to find someone who is not only going to go and have a rad time, but wear our gear, and tell us all about it. We don’t really care where you’re from, what you do, or where you go, but ideally, it will be somewhere cool or cold so you can get the most out our high-performance thermal clothing. And you’ll need to be able to take a few decent photos and write a blog about it afterwards.
You can hike, run, ride, paddle, climb, ski, road trip… we’re open to whatever you have in mind. We’ll take applications during October, choose our winners by the start of November, and you’ll have till the end of January 2019 to complete and share your adventure.
You don’t have to do anything too extreme like smash out an FKT or first ascent, you just need to suggest doing something that will make a great story. Because at the end of the day, that’s what this is about: sharing adventure stories with the rest of our ioMerino tribe.
We’re Australian, so we’re pretty easy going, but we’re going to want you to put at least a bit of effort into proving you’re up to the challenge of actually completing your adventure, and then telling the story.
In the meantime, if you have any questions, feel free to ask or check out our FAQs.
It's coming up to Christmas time, and while we know not everyone celebrates it, one thing we can all agree on is giving gifts to other people because you like them is a pretty cool thing to do. So why not check out ioMerino's Top Five Gift Ideas!
People all over the world love our natural, thermo-regulating merino clothes. But you won’t find them in many stores. Read more to find out why.
While Merino is an amazing natural fibre, not all Merino fabrics are created equal. At ioMerino, we make our own fabrics, using only the best quality fibres, and to very specific specifications that make the most of the natural benefits of Merino. All of them are 'Merino rich’. No cheap blends passed off as Merino. No cheaper scratchy fibres or synthetic substitutes to save money. No unethical production. And each fabric is made for a specific purpose. So if you see something with a small amount of elastase or nylon added, you can be sure it absolutely needs to be there to enhance the natural stretch and durability.
It took every bit of our 140 years of experience in the wool industry to perfect our fabrics, but we think you’ll agree the end result was more than worth the effort.
Ethically Made. Ethically Sourced. Perfectly Natural.
