love them going to use them for my 24hr running event
These are the first arm warmers i've ever owed, great fit and kept me warm on a cold morning. They easily rolled down to my wrists when I got too warm and didn't feel uncomfortable.
Wore the arm sleeves recently in Katoomba for UTA 50KM. Very warm and comfortable. I completely forgot they were on and easily rolled down and removed whilst running. Very happy with prompt delivery.
The arm warmers stayed up all day and helped stop the pain I usually get in my chicken wings from them jiggling around. Also, they gave me a good sun protection. Even though it was warm and sunny, i didn't over heat.
I have my fair collection of arm sleeves in my run wardrobe and were keen to try these for - to be honest - the compression, the fabric, the everything - LOVE LOVE LOVE them.
What I do love about the sleeves is that 'mid' season, you can start with your arms covered, then as you warm up slip them down! Now to get you guys to make some STRIPY ones like the mongrel. Guaranteed these will run out the store.
I've seen people wearing arm warmers before and to be honest, always thought they were a bit weird and silly. Not any more. I'm usually someone who wears a long sleeve top and pulls the sleeves up if I get warm. But wearing a T-shirt or tank and arm warmers and being able to pull my 'sleeves' down - or take them off completely - has been awesome. A totally different experience and I have to admit, way better and more flexible as a way to cope with fluctuating temperatures throughout the day - turns out these arm warmer things are pretty good. And of course, if you love ioMerino's other stuff, you'll love these. Not sure how I ever survived without a pair of these in my kit before now.
(The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars for comfort is I'm still getting used to how firm they sit at the top of my arms. Not UNcomfortable, just takes a bit of getting used to.)
While Merino is an amazing natural fibre, not all Merino fabrics are created equal. At ioMerino, we make our own fabrics, using only the best quality fibres, and to very specific specifications that make the most of the natural benefits of Merino. All of them are 'Merino rich’. No cheap blends passed off as Merino. No cheaper scratchy fibres or synthetic substitutes to save money. No unethical production. And each fabric is made for a specific purpose. So if you see something with a small amount of elastase or nylon added, you can be sure it absolutely needs to be there to enhance the natural stretch and durability.
It took every bit of our 140 years of experience in the wool industry to perfect our fabrics, but we think you’ll agree the end result was more than worth the effort.
Ethically Made. Ethically Sourced. Perfectly Natural.
