Very Very Very Comfortable

I was a bit unsure about it at first due to the Merino material next to the most important part of my body. Once I wore it I felt so comfortable. I sweat a lot in all seasons specifically in summer but while I wore Merino underpants I didn't feel itchy from sweat or material. It is way more comfortable than cotton. I am already planning to replace all my existing underpants with Merino. It dries quick, breathable natural material and very well stiched. I wear medium size for 34 waist. You won't go wrong.

Best ever Boxers

Bought some altitude boxers for my husband and we went on a motorbike trip where we had hot and steamy, and cold and wet weather and they worked so well in all conditions - as he said had toasty nuts the whole trip. Plus they dried quickly. Awesome

Seem decent, waistband branding is a bit extra

Wish the waistband was understated rather than screaming!

Other than that, seem reasonable. Durability remains to be seen - fingers crossed.

Extremely Happy! 🤩

As I prepare for my upcoming 800 km hike across Spain on the Camino de Santiago, I’ve turned to IO Marino for my gear, and I couldn’t be happier with my choices. I’ve purchased several items, including underwear, shirts, and warm-weather gear, all of which have exceeded my expectations. The quality, comfort, and durability of their products are top-notch, making them the perfect fit for my journey. I’m now a customer for life and highly recommend IO Marino to anyone looking for reliable outdoor gear. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Happy To Pay More If They Last

Seem good. The extra length is a good point of difference. Fit a little larger than expected. I'm usually a Large in merino boxers and I think a Medium might have been better for these. Also a little thinner than expected, so will see how the durability goes. Hopefully better than too many pairs of Mcpac.

I will never wear any other type of underwear again

I tried a couple of pairs of io trunks and boxers, and both styles were exceptionally comfortable, leaving any cotton or synthetic underpants for dead. I have now bought enough to not have to wear anything else.

They fit well - not to loose and not too tight

Also great for wearing under my wetsuit for extra warmth. Now, if IOMerino ever makes a vintage style wool bathing suit, I'll be set for any adventure.

Down Under

What can I say about these 'down-under'? They are comfortable, warm, soft, breathable - just what one needs next to one's 'down-unders'!

Another great product

In my 8th year of the process of switching all my important gear to wool. IO Merino is definitely the best brand of the 5 brands I have tried. I highly recommend this company in general and these boxers in particular!

Thanks for your review Casey!

BOXER COMFY

Super comfy...
waist band a little broader, (maybe better)... it felt a little cutting for 1st few wear....

For those who prefer Clingy boxers...this isn't for you.

Thigh feels snug but not tight.
(maybe l have skinny legs🐦)

Am always on the lookout for crazy colors....

Great boxers

The boxers are fantastic at keeping you dry & if they do get wet they dry out very quickly and they are really comfortable to wear as well.

Comfortable but worries about durability

I bought 3 boxers, these are my first ioMerino boxers. Importing them to Europe made them a bit expensive, but I like them.
They have a good length, are a bit loose fitting compared to the cotton boxers I have from other brands, but overall I like the fit.
They are soft and comfortable to wear, because of the longer length they don't bother during a run whereas shorter boxer ride up and start rubbing.
I am a bit worried that they fabric will start thinning quickly as I some chafing on the fabric at the inside of the thighsand this only after several hiking trips and some runs.
At the moment they are worth their money, now I need to see if they will last.

N
Natasha (Mont Albert, AU)
Excellent

I bought these for my husband who thinks they are great. He finds them super comfortable to wear, quick drying and there is no chafing!

Thank you for taking the time to give these a review Tash! So glad to hear your husband is enjoying them... I've heard the Women's Zodiac Briefs are pretty great too! ;)

coralie waller (Adelaide, AU)

I bought boxers and singlet tops for my husband who will turn 80 later
this year who has a blood disease and feels the cold we were on holidays
during the very hot spell and even temperature 107.2 degrees he felt good
,my son recommended your sporting clothing as he also uses your gear as he
is a runner. These keep my husband warm in winter and cool in summer as my
son said they would. I love how they wash so well and he wears a clean
change daily so they are constantly in the wash and they look and feel
great . Ok they are quite a bit more expensive than Bonds underwear but
after six months of using Io merino as underwear we are happy with the
outcome.

Great Undies

Only had them a couple of weeks but wish I had been using them long ago. The usual chaffing issues in erm sensitive parts associated with running in hot weather have just gone away. I have found them comfortable and gotten used to wearing them very quickly.
I saw a longevity comment in another review and I’ll just say that all of my IOMerino gear is hand washed - I look after this gear pretty carefully but it gets some serious wear and I haven’t had any wear issues with any of the IOM range.

Losing longevity

Love this product for all the reviewed reasons, But, what’s happened to their longevity and durability?? I hike, ski and farm in them, they’re all I wear, but their life is decreasing it seems with each batch I buy. Noticed this trend when colours were introduced, for the $’s it’s nearly time to look elsewhere for a tougher product! Please fix iomerino!

Hi Alan, Thanks for your honest review on the Boxers.
We're sorry to hear that you think there has been a decline in durability. We pride ourselves on making gear that is warm, comfortable and great quality so we're certainly disappointed to hear you haven't had this experience.
We have a 1 year warranty on all our products, so if you have any issues please feel free to get in contact with us at customerservice@iomerino.com and we can hopefully help you with any of your concerns.

Love

This was a great gift for a husband who is very particular about his underwear. 👌

Great for every day

These are great for hiking and for every day use. I find it funny that someone wanted a shorter pair for summer (another review) as I think the length is just about right or possibly a little short. I wouldn't mind them being longer but I guess this is a good compromise. Two thumbs up.
