I've been wearing these superb socks for years and years. I take a EUR 41 shoe and find medium is the best fit. I now buy them in lots of 3 about once a year and just throw them all in the drawer - no need to pair them! They wash well, dry promptly, fit snugly, are incredibly warm, but cool when it's hot, and can be worn for days without a problem. They can be a little tight around the calves, but snipping the elastic works and is worth the effort because they are the best thing for my feet - ever. I haven't had a blister since changing to these socks. I recommend them to everyone I meet!

I didn't think anything would be as good as the low cut io merino socks... And yet here these are!

I wore them on a hike, weather was cold at first and hot at the end, I was comfortable through it all. No blisters and my feet felt cushioned. Amazing. I wear them in everyday life too as they are warm and cozy. I cut the top elastic (I have sensitiv ankles and can't stand sock elastics, but I cut them on any socks I own).

I very much like the quality of the material that feels very soft on the skin, unfortunately though as a woman with larger calves, I find the band is a bit tight and cut into my skin. I can still wear them, but I need yo roll them down. The size of the sock is otherwise perfect for my feet.
It'd be great if in the future the company could address this and make the elastic band more stretchable.

I bought a pair of these to try and I’m impressed! I bought the large size (I’m a size 10 women’s) and like the fit. Super comfy in boots for being pillion on a motorbike.

I've bought these previously in a smaller size I'm planning to wear in the US this winter as they are warm and dry quickly after washing. I'm a big fan of iO Merino undergarments as they're effective, good quality, durable and a South Aussie company.. Recommend sizing up after checking the size chart

I have just finished walking a camino in Europe; 635km over all sorts of terrain - rocky, asphalt, flat, steep - you name it, I walked it! I have walked Caminos before and have always developed blisters within the first 3-4 days. This time, I walked for more than a month, without developing any blisters at all. It was amazing! So liberating not to have to worry about plasters, tape and pain, like the majority of other walkers. On day 33, a very small blister showed itself (only about 1 cm across); it was easy to deal with and walk the last 25 km.
I took two pairs of iomerino socks with me. My usual routine was to wear each pair for about three days, then swap to the other pair. Not once were the socks smelly from sweat. I thoroughly recommend these socks to anyone walking or hiking. They will most definitely be my socks of choice, when I next venture on a camino trail.

Super comfortable and warm socks

Lovely socks, but unfortunately the elastic on the top was too tight, even though I don’t have large calves. I was so looking forward to wearing them.

Love them. Bought blue ones, now have black ones. I can wear them for 2-3 days in a row. I wear them everyday in winter and they keep my feet warm.

The only socks I wear for work, they feel great and never smell.

The products all look & feel great .. the proof will be in the pudding when we get to wear them in June

These wool socks are the best ever! I have used other brands for many years, but these are the best. They are extremely comfortable and no nasty 'corners' to give you corns! So warm in this winter weather too!

Thought I'd try a pair of these socks having recently been converted to the IOMerino brand. Used them on a week long hike on the Heysen Trail. Verdict? Loved them. Comfortable and best of all my feet don't pong at night. A happy chappy.

I suspect I've tried dozens of different types of socks over the years. Most fail because they want to wriggle their way into my shoes, they go into holes far too readily, they stink within a day, they irritate my delicate skin, they constrict blood flow, they take a year to dry, or they are just plain uncomfortable. But ioMerino hiking socks have none of these problems. They are simply THE BEST socks ever. I've gradually chucked out all competitors and now I only buy these. I wear them all year round for any activity - and I wear them until they wear out then I put them in my compost bin. On a recent camping trip I forgot to pack socks and only had the ones I travelled in. After 5 days of frost-washes they were still pretty fresh. Remarkable. Love these socks! Nice and thick squishy merino, but not too thick to fit into my cycling shoes, even with a thin merino liner sock underneath. They don't get stinky at all, wash well, dry quickly, and most importantly, they keep my toes toasty warm when I'm riding my bike on those ice-cold June Melbourne mornings.
