I purchased the Ultra tee to wear for the Yurrebilla 56km Ultramarathon. The weather on the day was around 11 degrees at the start and got up to 16 degrees for the day. I felt comfortable from beginning to end due to the thermo regulating of the merino. The material is breathable and moisture wicking which are so important when you’re running for hours. I had no chaffing. I loved the fit, not too tight. I purchased a small and normally a size 10 in tops. Really happy with my choice of colour. Navy paired with the Forrest Marle buff on the day. Great combo for a long day out on the trails.

I bought this Tee to add to my travel wardrobe and I particularly want to be able to wear it over other more fitting tops so I bought it in Med. I love the grey which goes with everything. Great quality as usual.

I write this tshirt for the first time on Saturday. I ran 5km at Parkrun and hiked 30km. I stayed "fresh" for the entire day, had I worn any other tshirt covering the exercise I did, I would have felt totally gross and sweaty by the end of the day. Best purchase ever!

Excellent Fit - love the colour. The sizing was off though as it said i needed an XL but it was like a tent ! So i wasted $105 on the first one. Very comfortable and great for winter in brissie

I love the feel of this fabric! Feels soft … lovely to wear and Merino fabric seems to never ‘ wear out’ … in fact i use it when away, to sleep in at night

Looking for a new running top before an ultra - super soft, comfortable to run in and nice length. I followed the sizing chart and it was spot on. Love the green. Looking forward to trying it on a long run

I bought a red tshirt which is more burnt orange and as a result the seams stand out. They’re really obvious. Looking at the photos I can see it now. Looks great on a thin young thin, not so flattering for me.

This tshirt is great for running on cool days. I usually get too hot even with short sleeves and wear a tank. I dont get too hot with this tshirt, but it keeps me warm on those frosty morning runs! Loving it and want to purchase more!

This top is light weight, soft and very comfortable. I am going to purchase another and also invest in a long sleeved one too. It’s a great cut and perfect if you don’t like tight fitting tops.

These are my go to running shirts, really comfortable and don't smell, even after several runs between washes. They don't chafe me at all and are still comfortable to wear even when I have worked up a sweat, they aren't at all hot or prickly to wear

I have become a committed daily walker and weekend hiker during the pandemic and am organizing my life to keep these positive new habits going as we return to a new normal. I love the bright orange color of my new ultra tee and the fact that I can throw it on for my morning walk multiple times in the week without needing to worry about laundry.

Worth every cent , so comfortable . Wore it on a rainy day long run recently super impressed how warm i was in this which being the cold frog i am is very very important for me

This top is my new favourite! It does have all these benefits like being breathable and non-smelling etc. But what I love most is that is it just so darn comfy! Love it and would wear it every day if I could :)

I have several of these for trail running and mountain biking: I even wear them as casual clothing. I reckon they're are brilliant! I wouldn't mind one or two in boring old grey as well, but happy with the ones I have.

I love the ultra tee, it's not as thick as the altitude which I find perfect for running. It's a nice loose fit which is great and does not smell at all. Layers perfectly with the ultra zip. The fabric is so comfy!

I love my wool tops and leg warmers for bike riding and hiking. No stink and wicks the moisture away beautifully

Bought in lieu of hi-viz Lycra top for rowing on Port River. It’s brilliant. Does all the right things.

I’ve been meaning to write this review since Oct 2019 when I completed the Blackall 100 in Qld using the Ultra T all day (and night) long. I can’t recommend it highly enough. It is a superior piece of outdoor equipment, especially if you’re slogging it out for 20+ hrs as I was. In humidity, heat, cool evening air and thunderstorms, the Ultra T was super comfortable, chafe free and like a second skin that responded to every step of the journey. You want to know you have gear that does what it promises when you’re out on a long adventure, iO Merino certainly does. I’ll be buying more in the future. Great product. Worth every cent. Cheers!

Day 9 of wearing this every day hiking the Te Araroa trail in New Zealand and the shirt is super comfortable and best of all doesn't smell. A quick rinse and it dries quickly. It is pilling a bit where my backpack rubs and I got a hole in it (a stick went through it) but perfect so far. Will see how it goes the rest of the trip!

My Ultra T in Silver Pine tones perfectly with my silver hair. I also love having it in XXL which some athletic lines won't stretch to. I went ahead and bought a second one in red because the length and drape are perfect for the wider runner and great as street wear as well.

I bought the Ultra round neck T in orange. It is so vibrant. Maybe one day they might make a vibrant pink one - but for now - orange will do nicely. These and the altitude Ts are the only Ts I run in now. Team them up with a pair of iomerino arm warmers and you are good to go.
Slightly looser fit than the altitude Tshirt. I am normally a ladies size M 12/14 in tops. I pick M in the Ultra Range and L in the Altitude Range.

Love this tee and my other ioMerino pieces. Super comfy in all weather conditions.

I have a several iO merino items and I love them all. I am lucky enough to now own an ultra tee and it's fabulous. The merino is super comfortable, breathable and the fit is perfect. I also have to say that the communication/customer service with iO merino was outstanding. They are super helpful and nothing was too much or too hard for them. Excellent products and excellent customer service. Highly recommend :-)
