Our best selling neck warmers are good in all sorts of ways, in all sorts of conditions, for all sorts of reasons. Get the lowdown here.

They’re not just for your neck. Or just for the cold weather.

Even though they’re commonly referred to as ‘neck warmers’ or ‘neck gaiters’, they’re certainly not just for your neck. You can wear them all sorts of ways. Some people wear them as a headband to keep their ears warm, as a headband to soak up perspiration, over the top of their heads in place of a beanie, or if you’re super talented, even more like a balaklava to protect almost all of your head and face. They can be worn on their own or underneath a bike or ski helmet. And, of course, you can wear it around your wrist in case you need it later.

They’re natural fabric

One of the things people love about these neck warmers is they’re made from a natural fabric. These are 96% merino with only 4% elastane added to give it a bit of extra stretch for even more comfort. So instead of breathing through some stinky, sweaty synthetic fabric, you get all natural merino.

They’re breathable

Another great benefit of our merino fabric is how naturally breathable it is. The thermo regulating properties, (that’s its ability to control temperature and keep you warm when it’s cool, but keep you comfortable when it’s warm), gives you a fantastic combination of protection from the elements along with the comfort of breathability without getting stuffy or stinky.

They’re naturally moisture wicking and anti-bacterial

Because the wool fibres in our neck warmers can absorb large quantities of vapour (up to 35% of its own weight - which is about twice as much as cotton and thirty times as much as polyester), it helps keep your skin drier and prevents the build up of sweat discouraging bacteria and unpleasant smells. The unique chemical structure of wool also bonds odours within the fibre where bacteria do not thrive.

There’s no micro plastics

Unlike synthetic fibres that can enter the water ways and oceans when you wash them and stay there for who knows how long, wool readily biodegrades in marine environments. It’s estimated up to 1.7million tons of microfibres are released into the oceans every year and a big part of this comes from washing clothing. Not only do our merino fabrics need to be washed less, but when you do, you’re not contributing to the micro plastic problem.

They’re ethically made

Last but not least, all our clothing, including our neck warmers, are ethically made. No sweat shops, no child labour, no unfair working conditions. All our clothing is made at hand picked factories who meet the highest standards to make sure you don’t just feel good in your io, but feel good about it as well.
