Let’s be honest, usually even the crappiest track pants are fairly good. The Track Pant Police simply wouldn’t allow it if they weren’t at least a little bit comfortable. But there’s ‘Yeah, they’re OK’ comfortable, and ‘Holy Cow these might just be the best track pants I’ve ever worn’ comfortable. So we created ‘The Tracky Dack Challenge’ so you could put your track pants to the test and see how they measure up. (And find out why ours are in the ‘Holy Cow’ category. Or should that be ‘Holy Sheep’?).

The Feels Test.

First up is how your track pants feel. Obviously. You want something so soft it feels like it’s made of clouds. Ever wondered why the shape of sheep and the shape of clouds is kind of similar? Don’t wear plastic. Seriously. Just don’t do it. If you’re having a sports drink, Merino wool doesn’t make a great container, plastic is better. If you’re popping a cheeky macaroni cheese microwave meal in the microwave, Merino wool doesn’t make a great container either. Plastic is better. So synthetic, which is basically fancy plastic, is better for some things, but track pants isn’t one of those things. Don’t wrap yourself in plastic. Keep your track pants natural and enjoy a nice ‘clean’ warmth. If you love the outdoors, and love nature, but your track pants aren’t also natural… *Buzzer Sound Effect*.

For those of you who aren’t from the great land Down Under (i.e. Australia), this is your chance for a few quick language lessons. ‘Tracky Dacks’ is Australian for ‘Track Pants’. And if you’re looking for a phrase to describe how good our Tracky Dacks really are, you can go with ‘They’re you-beaut, bonzer bottler tracky dacks”. Is that the truth? Bloody oath.
