We strive to make all our products true to size. The sizing chart below is not garment specific, but hopefully, it will give you some guidance when choosing your size. In instances where you’re perhaps in between two sizes then we recommend you take the size up.

Altitude Range - 'Contact Fit'

The Altitude range is designed to be a tight, but comfortable, fit. If you size up it will give you a little extra room, but it will still hug your body as that’s what this range is designed to do. If you want a looser fit consider the Ultra or Universal range.

Universal, Ultra, and Horizon Range - 'Regular Fit'

These garments are designed true to size, but going up a size in the Ultra will give it a slightly looser fit, whilst remaining sporty. The Universal and Horizon are already designed as a more casual fit.

The Women's Ultra Zip Base Layer top is as soft and comfortable as ever combining all the natural benefits of our finest MicroMerino® fabrics with just enough nylon to create our most durable fabric ever to withstand the most demanding adventures.

Designed with Ultra Runners in mind we made it extra comfortable and extra durable. Made with lightweight 83% superfine Australian Merino Wool, 12% Nylon for durability and 5% Elastane for an easy four-way stretch and freedom of movement. Still Merino-rich, and perfect for adventure racing and what in Australia, we like to call ‘bush bashing’. The sporty fit is streamlined, but not ‘contact fit’ like the Altitude Base Layer Range.

It is the ultimate in versatility and temperature regulation; roll the sleeves up, and pull the zip down when it’s mild and pull the sleeves down, zip up and thumb loops on when the temperature drops. Wear it on its own to stay cool in warm or mild weather, or as part of a layering system when the temperature drops.

This Base Layer is packed with extra performance features like tag-free labels and flatlock stitching helps eliminate chafe and maximize comfort. The high collar and ¾ zip add greater temperature regulation, while the thumb loops keep your hands warm and stop your sleeves riding. The reflective trims have been added for extra safety in low light.

Great t-shirt for thru-hikers

I have been wearing my ioMerino t-shirt everyday for over 70 days on the Appalachian Trail thru-hike. It still looks and feels like new. I absolutely love it. It’s great fit, washes very well, doesn’t hold the hiker smell 😊, holds its shape even when wet, fast drying and most importantly super comfortable for any type of weather. Highly recommend. I might get the sleeveless shirt for the summer period as a second shirt.

Universal Long Sleeve Tee - Wise Women Walking

I love my universal long sleeve tee. I have worn it on numerous long hikes and have found it to be fast drying if caught in light drizzle or when sweaty. On a cool day it is fine on its own, or under other clothes if cold. Perfect for when the weather is warmer too, plus protects arms from the sun. I love the dazzling blue colour too.

Altitude Crop - Ready For Adventure

Perfect Trackpants

Have just ordered another pair in a different colour. These have fast become my favourite trackpants. I've worn these walking my dogs and they're warm but the fabric is so soft, light and breathable! Well done IOMerino! Awesome. I seriously don't want to take them off and they're stylish enough to wear out. Keen to try them on my next hike that's how much I love them!

Lightweight warmth

This is fantastic for cold weather running. The zip is so handy for adjusting the warmth as I warm up. The neckline is cosy when starting out. I team this with an IO tank top and it works perfectly on a 1 degree morning!
